A delegation led by the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, visited Maiduguri to formally convey condolences of the Federal Government to the people of Borno State following Tuesday’s accidental bombing of an internally displaced persons camp in the state.

A fighter jet involved in the counter-insurgency operation in the North-East on Tuesday, had fired at aid workers, soldiers and displaced persons in error, killing no fewer than 100 persons in the camp.
