The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev
Tor Uja, says the commission will pray for the quick recovery of
President Muhammadu Buhari on Mount Zion, Jerusalem.
The Commission ‘s Head of Media, Mr Celestine Ogugua, in a statement
on Tuesday in Abuja, said that a Prayer Convocation for Nigeria would
hold on March 5, 2017, during the 2016 Pilgrimage Completion Exercise.
Uja said that the focus of the Prayer Convocation was to pray for the President, the Acting President and Nigeria as a whole.

Modu Sheriff, has said that it was wrong for Governor Ayodele Fayose to
have rejected him as the leader of the party on behalf of other
governors.
Sheriff spoke with journalists in Abuja on Saturday on the Court of
Appeal judgement in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, which was in his
favour.

The Senate on Tuesday confirmed the
receipt of a letter from President Muhammadu Buhari, informing the
legislature of his intention to extend his medical vacation in the
United Kingdom.
The upper chamber of the National Assembly however failed to provide details of the letter.
Earlier on Sunday, the Presidency had announced that Buhari’s 10-day vacation to the UK had been extended.
The extension was contained in a
three-paragraph statement made available to journalists by the Special
Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina.
