- A gospel singer, Abioro Seyitan has blamed tribalism and religion as the two instruments of destruction in Nigeria
- Seyitan said political leaders apply these two sentiments to cause dispute among Nigerians
A Nigerian gospel singer, Abioro Seyitan has fingered tribalism and religion intolerance as the major problem in Nigeria.

Seyitan who spoke in Abuja during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria most Nigerian leaders used religion and ethnic group to set Nigerians against each other.
He said: “They have fuelled this tribal and religious intolerance over the years just to achieve their selfish interests.
“How can someone have to be from one tribe or religion before he or she can attain certain position or access some privileges?
